The activity and game based programme is suitable for all skill levels, providing your child with the foundations to begin a lifelong love of physical activity and cricket, while making friends in a safe and enjoyable environment.

The 2025 All Star Programme at Ickleton Cricket Club is here!
A warm welcome awaits all parents and aspiring young cricketers at our pictureque ground nestled in the village of Ickleton. The club now boasts a number of ECB qualified cricket coaches. The Programme will focus on fundamental skills and teamwork, building on the basics each week. We cater for all abilities and skill levels (girls and boys) - with emphasis on fun and participation.
Ages: Typically Reception to Year 3.
We are aiming to start on Thu 24-April at 17:30h. Each weekly session will be of 60 minutes duration.
A total of ELEVEN sessions are planned (though only 8 are listed below). There will be a break for Half Term on 29-May. The programme will end on Thu 10-July with the Awards ceremony and Presentations.

Did you know parents and carers can get involved and play cricket with their children too? It's a great way to spend time with your child and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Parent Activators (helpers) will support the fully accredited lead Activator in delivering the sessions, supporting and encouraging children as they learn new skills. It's completely optional and you do not need to be a cricket expert to be involved.
