Wimborne Cricket Club

Dynamos Cricket provides girls from 8-11 years old with non-stop fun. Each week there will be a focus on a different cricket skill to build their confidence and ability, before they take part in a 60-ball countdown cricket match.

Dynamos Cricket will help grow your child's love of the game, and will give them the opportunity to socialise and make friends in a safe environment.

In 2022 & 23 Wimborne CC was awarded All Star Champion Club in Dorset! Once again in 2024 we are offering Dynamos course for Boys & Girls aged 7+ (Year 3 - 5/6)! The course will run from 10th May to 5th July (8 weeks) and is a family event. Dynamos is a great introduction for Girls to Cricket, and leads into our Under 9 & 11s Girls teams plus mixed teams at each age group from Under 8s upwards. Wimborne CC is the place to be on a Friday afternoon/evening and we are focused on building a family friendly environment. Hot food will be available along with a fully stocked bar! Please note the course is likely to hit capacity so please register ASAP. Wimborne CC will also be running an All Stars course for 5-7 years old on the same nights as Dynamos but at the early time of 4:30-5:30pm. Did you know parents and guardians can get involved and play cricket with their children too? It's a great way to spend time with your child and create memories that will last a lifetime. Parent activators (helpers) will support the fully accredited lead Activator in delivering the sessions, supporting and encouraging children as they learn new skills. It's completely optional and you do not need to be a cricket expert to be involved.
