About this course
Dynamos Cricket provides boys and girls from 8-11 years old with non-stop fun. Each week there will be a focus on a different cricket skill to build their confidence and ability, before they take part in a 60-ball countdown cricket match.
Dynamos Cricket will help grow your child's love of the game, and will give them the opportunity to socialise and make friends in a safe environment.

Notes from the organiser
Newport Cricket Club has a fantastic Girls Cricket section, catering for Girls of all ages. The Club's Dynamo's coaching sessions are for Girls only and target Junior School Girls aged 9 - 11 years old. Fully qualified Club coaches will conduct the sessions, giving Girls a first enjoyable experience of the game of Cricket. The emphasis of Dynamos Cricket is to have fun whilst learning to play the game in a safe, friendly and inclusive environment. Each session of the 8-week programme will give Girls the basic skills they need to develop a lifelong love of cricket.

Did you know parents and carers can get involved and play cricket with their children too? It's a great way to spend time with your child and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Parent Activators (helpers) will support the fully accredited lead Activator in delivering the sessions, supporting and encouraging children as they learn new skills. It's completely optional and you do not need to be a cricket expert to be involved.
