About this course
Dynamos Cricket provides boys and girls from 8-11 years old with non-stop fun. Each week there will be a focus on a different cricket skill to build their confidence and ability, before they take part in a 60-ball countdown cricket match.
Dynamos Cricket will help grow your child's love of the game, and will give them the opportunity to socialise and make friends in a safe environment.

Welcome to Dynamos Cricket 2026!
We’re thrilled to have you with us—whether you’re picking up a bat for the first time or returning for another brilliant summer. All sessions will take place at The ANG, right in the heart of Bidborough, giving our young players the perfect home to learn, play, and enjoy the game.
This year’s programme will be led by TWCC 1st XI all‑rounder James Poulsom, supported by TWCC 1st XI opening batsman Drew Beazleigh. With their experience, enthusiasm, and love for the sport, every session promises to be lively, supportive, and packed with energy.
Dynamos is designed to develop the key skills of cricket—batting, bowling, fielding, teamwork—but above all, it’s about fun. Smiles, confidence, and enjoyment come first, every single week.

Did you know parents and carers can get involved and play cricket with their children too? It's a great way to spend time with your child and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Parent Activators (helpers) will support the fully accredited lead Activator in delivering the sessions, supporting and encouraging children as they learn new skills. It's completely optional and you do not need to be a cricket expert to be involved.
